Musikalliansen is a cultural policy measure with the principal task of being an employer to freelance musicians. Musikalliansen also supports the independent music life through training courses, seminars, open discussions and co-operation with other actors within the area of music. The enterprise is financed by state grants via the Swedish National Council for Cultural Affairs.
