Design and accessibility

The website’s design, without tables in the layout, is adapted so that it can be read in all types of internet equipment, such as web browsers for blind partially sighted people (text-to-speech web browsers) and mobile phones (with at least WAP 2.0). Some documents are in PDF format and free readers are available for the different platforms.

In order to ease use for colour blind and partially sighted people, we use an easily legible font, a simple design, few colours and few pictures (GIF and JPEG formats). If you think that the text on the website is too small, you can change this in your web browser; most modern browsers have this function. Often you will also be able to permanently adjust the font size, contrasts, etc., yourself by using a private Cascading Style Sheets file.
