The first ”The freelance musician in focus” was arranged in April 2009 where the inquiry on cultural policy was discussed. Part 2 was arranged in May in co-operation with the Swedish National Council for Cultural Affairs, the Swedish Arts Grants Committee, Stockholm City and Stockholm County Council where the theme was forms of support for musicians and the intersection between the need for support and the possibilities of governing documents. Approximately 50 people took part in each event of which the majority were freelance musicians.
